Tuesday 23rd September 2008So taping for the Spelling Bee DVD started today. We came prepared to do about 500 words and then to do the other 400 or so words on the following Thursday. However, we finished all the words on the list in a few hours. I was so happy!
I was also happy to see Shevon and Ian doing everything for themselves. They only needed my assistance to tell the camera man to start and stop taping. Nevertheless, at a point I had to leave the room and they devised a way to let the camera man know when to start and stop. Guess what they did? lol...they clapped twice lol and they loved it! I was impressed and proud that they took charge of this project. It ALWAYS pleases me to see them being self-sufficient!
Today was also an opportunity for me to learn some new signs. As they signed and I looked on, I was able to learn several words. In fact, working on this Spelling Bee DVD was quite educational. Yup! Undoubtedly it has helped to develop my signing vocabulary.
