Today we had our second Hairdressing class with Winette. Winette went the extra mile again and got some handbands with the words "God Rocks" in many different colours for everyone. I even got one! :) Everyone was so happy to get them. Some even ensured that they got their favourite colour! lolAgain, it was a wonderful class. The enthusiasm of all the girls is truly priceless. It is so obvious that they love the class and are ready to learn. I know that they look forward to the classes and it brings me so much joy to see how happy they are during the class!
In this class, Nalini was so entertaining! lol She was so bubbly and had us laughing with her little jokes. I looked at her and she was just absolutely precious and so energetic and lovely!! Oh what joy I feel to see them enjoying themselves in a free, secure and healthy environment.
Well Winette had a quizz at the end of the session and awarded the winners with more little gifts. I smile as I write this and when I think about it. I wonder if Winette knows what joy she brings them on a Tuesday? I thank God for her so much! I thank God for her passion and willingness. Winette voluntarily gave up her Tuesdays to accomodate these Deaf girls and prepare for the class. She has no clients on Tuesdays. Imagine that! Well, I think the smiles on their faces and gladness in their eyes are worth her sacrifice!
